Professional kitchens & private service

Badr El Alami — federally-certified chef, member of the Société Suisse des Cuisiniers.

A craft built on precision and trust.

With more than 15 years of professional kitchen experience, I place my craft at the service of a private clientele in search of excellence, discretion and confidence. Every engagement is personal, considered and entirely confidential.
Holder of a Swiss federal diploma in cuisine (brevet fédéral), I spent five years as private chef to the late Comtesse Jacqueline de Ribes. Cooking within so refined a household sharpened a keen sense of detail, of timing, and of the quiet, high-end service that lets the host simply enjoy their guests.
From the first conversation to the last plate cleared, I take care of the entire experience so that nothing falls to you.

A defining chapter

Five years with the Comtesse de Ribes.

Comtesse Jacqueline de Ribes was a French aristocrat and one of the twentieth century’s enduring icons of style — a muse to the great couturiers, photographed by Richard Avedon and Cecil Beaton, and in time an acclaimed fashion designer in her own right. In 2015 the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute devoted an exhibition to her, “Jacqueline de Ribes: The Art of Style.”

For five years, Badr served as her private chef — cooking each day within a household where elegance was a way of life, and where discretion, timing and detail meant everything. It is the standard he carries to every table today.

An education in elegance — at the stove, and at the table.
